Sweetie' s Story
Sweetie used to be a University of NSW cat before he was adopted by Tracy in 2003. Following is Sweetie's story written by Tracy.
“These are the photos of my beautiful cat 'Sweetie' who was also a campus cat and is the love of my life. I got him from Sue in 2003. He was very ill at the time. I took him to the vet who treated him. Sweetie has been well ever since. He is the most lovable cat and my friends say he is obsessed with me as he sits on top of me and puts his little paw up to my face and gently touches it. He sleeps with me, tells me off when I sleep in and virtually rules our house. He is very social and for a couple of weeks he brought a rabbit home to play with. It was someone’s pet and Sweetie loved having his friend over....I think the rabbit had other plans for Sweetie.
I don't know what my life would be like without my Sweetie boy and I dread anything ever happening to him as he is the centre of our household. Campus cats seem to have a special love when adopted as they have been abandoned and appreciate life when loved and nurtured.”
